Hurricane Harriet vicitms seek hope

Molly Singer frantically ran down the street in search for help, any help. She came across a team of Red Cross volunteers. Susana Blanco, Red Cross Mental Health Worker, heard her pleas for assistance. Molly’s husband was injured. Susana motioned the Red Cross Assessment team to go into the house. They went in not knowing to expect. Debris littered the home, proving that Harriet made her presence be known. Under beams of wood, Jeff Singer was pinned to the floor. A volunteer ran out and flagged down an ambulance. The Red Cross team pulled the injured man out of the rubble. According to EMS workers, his vitals were stable, but in need of immediate medical assistance. TIme was of the essence. Quickly Jeff was sent to the local hospital.  Unfortunately Molly was left behind, making sense of it all and faced with the daunting task of piecing their lives back together.
