Two Harriets arrived at the Red Cross shelter earlier today. The first was a category 4 hurricane and the second was a premature baby girl. Having evacuated their home ealier in the day, the Smith family arrived at the shelter. After settling into their family area, the mother started having complications. After 911 was called, yet the baby came too fast. It’s a first for our medical health team.
Not only does this team save lives, they deliver them too. The entire family was transported to the local hospital and the last report is that the entire family is resting well. Hariet came into the world with a storm and we wish her years of safe weather for the future.
